Innovative and purposeful teaching is at the heart of every program I create. Since 2020, I’ve focused on creating resources and programs that help pre-professional and professional dancers thrive both in and outside of the studio. For me, it’s about finding joy, equity, and fulfilment in all the work we do. Life as a professional dancer can be exciting, unpredictable, and incredibly challenging. These programs are designed to give dancers the confidence to take on these challenges and have the careers they’ve always dreamed of.

Career Coaching with Brandon
I help early career contemporary dancers book and build lasting + fulfilling careers. I work with individuals in groups and 1-on-1 to help achieve their career goals.
Working together, I can help dancers who want to better manage their online presence, guide them as they prepare audition materials such as resumes, reels, and emails, and help them gain the confidence they need to take on this incredible career path.

PROS
PROS is a 9-week coaching club for early career artists navigating a contemporary dance career in NYC.
The PROS Methodology focuses on Brandon’s four pillars of navigating a successful contemporary dance career: Purpose, Resourcefulness, Optimism, and Self-Sufficiency.
Open Classes
These classes are designed for Intermediate/Advanced dancers who are looking for a space to dance, have fun, and connect with other dancers in their community.
The 1.5 hour structure is similar to Brandon’s other classes but is followed by a community meet up at a nearby coffee shop or bar (depending on the time of day) so dancers can continue to relationships with dancers outside of the studio.
Perfect for informed dancers who are on the precipice of their careers AND dancers looking to reconnect with movement after time away.

Auditioning is a frustrating process, especially in large open cattle calls. In the decade I’ve been a professional dancer, I’ve found a lot of success in booking company positions, films, and freelance gigs through Instagram.
Through this resource, I hope to give other dancers inspiration to make it happen for themselves.

As dancers, we spend hours a day and years of our lives honing our craft, but as we step into our careers we need to ask ourselves what we truly want from this life.

One-Day Contemporary Dance Workshop
These one-day and in-person workshops are created for Pre-professional dancers ages 13+ who want to immerse themselves in the world of contemporary dance.
Over the course of the day we engage in movement and conversation facilitated around curiosity, technique, and living a life as a professional dancer.
I bring my experience from the Chicago and NYC to communities around the US to not only educate but to encourage the next generation of contemporary dancers to pave their own path in contemporary dance.
Reels & Resumes Workshop
Our audition materials are the bread and butter of our careers and having attractive performance reels and resumes can help us book the jobs we’ve always dreamed of.
It’s important that these materials represent the best of what we have to offer, but how do we enhance them without adding distracting fonts, layouts, or irrelevant information?
In this 2 hour virtual workshop, I will offer my tools and ideas to help each dancer craft their own performance reels and resumes in an efficient and effective way.
SHIFT
SHIFT is an exclusive three week online mentorship program for pre-professional dancers. Throughout the program, we will engage in weekly classes, webinars, and discussions to help you identify and manifest the goals you have for your professional dance career. You will have access to classes with current professional dance artists and have the opportunity to engage in discussions with established teachers, dancers, and choreographers from across the United States.
In addition, you will work closely with me in one-on-one sessions to help prepare, organize, and cultivate strategies and techniques to reach your specific career goals. The end of this workshop will culminate in a final project that each participant will create on their own. Examples of this might included: Instagram improv challenge, dance video series, structuring an open class, create an online space representative of themselves, etc. I will be there along the way to encourage, guide, and assist in bringing your projects to fruition.
Momentum Coaching Club
MCC is a 10-week program for pre-professional dancers to gain the skills they need to find their own success as they step into the dance world.
Each week, participants will engage in a virtual lesson with me, followed by a discussion and Q&A session. The lesson each week will range from resume and reel creation to social media managing and content creation.
After that, participants will have the opportunity to share any audition materials or work they have created for notes and feedback. This program is designed to bridge the gap between the pre-professional and professional dance life.
#FreeFriday Contemporary on IG LIVE
Like so many artists at the start of the pandemic, I stared teaching free intermediate/advanced contemporary classes on Instagram. I wanted dancers to be able to move and not have to spend money after so many of us were layed off.
Still, dancers felt compelled to share the money they did have so I started collecting donations for a variety of Black and/or LGBTQIA+ organizations around America. Since March of 2020, we’ve donated over $1,000 to organizations in need of financial support.
3-Day Instagram Intensive
After booking multiple jobs through Instagram, I want to help other dancers do the same!
This workshop is designed for dancers who want to utilize social media for both professional AND personal use. Any aspiring OR current professional dancer/performer are welcome to sign-up!
Over three days, three virtual talks, and homework assignments we dive into how we can use this social media platform to share our work, network, and create engaging content. All talks will be recorded and shared with those who are enrolled.
Participants will leave with a greater understanding of how to naturally grow their following and create a system of using social media that works for them.
PROS+
PROS+ is an invite only 10-week coaching pod for earlt career dancers on the brink of booking fulfilling work in NYC.
Dancers in PROS+ have been auditioning in NYC, making it through multiple rounds of those auditions, and/or have been invited to auditions through virtual submissions.
